Strike Force Raptor police stopped a vehicle in the Chisholm area about 7.40am Monday.
During the vehicle stop, police claim a 32-year-old male passenger became aggressive and threatening towards police.
As officers tried to arrest him, he allegedly resisted before fleeing the scene.
On Wednesday, the man attended Maitland Police Station where he was arrested.
He was charged with assault police, resist arrest, intimidate police and offensive language.
He was refused bail to appear at Maitland Local Court on Thursday.
