Residents want more consultation on the Lorn Riverbank Masterplan and Plan of Management, a document that could place the river at the forefront of regional tourism. It proposes exercise equipment, amenities blocks, picnic tables, play areas and a central plaza for community functions.
Council’s Community and Recreation Manager Laurie D’Angelo said the Lorn plan has received significant community feedback which is still being reviewed.
Lorn spokeswoman Sally O’Neal said a meeting will be held for Lorn residents once council has assessed public submissions.
