Raymond Terrace and Northern Suburbs booked their spots in the Maitland first-grade grand final with wins against Thornton and City United respectively.
There were plenty of outstanding performances with Thornton skipper Jake Moore scoring 122 as his Raymond Terrace counterpart Steve Smith and Jaymes Thomas turned their side’s recent form slump on its head with innings of 88 and 92 respectively.
Across at Lorn Park, Northern Suburbs skipper Michael Wilson delivered an impressive captain’s knock of 71 when needed.
City’s Michael Heinrich gave his team every chance to cause an upset making 61, claiming 4-57 and running out Matt Sugden in an outstanding individual performance.
Here’s looking forward to an equally outstanding grand final.
