The Riverlink Building opened during Maitland’s recent Taste festival. It will showcase public open space, art, new amenities and a cafe which is yet to be leased.
The development is a key part of Maitland City Council’s second stage of the Central Maitland upgrade and part of the overall Levee project. Council is yet to get the Occupancy Certificate for the premises so the site still remains the contractor’s until the certificate is issued.
Council has engaged Colliers International to attract a tenant for the building’s cafe. A council spokesperson said Colliers was selected because of its experience in attracting quality tenants, their depth of reach and network of contacts.
