The sleepwear giant will open its 300 square metre store on the top level in the newest section of Green Hills – not far from David Jones – on Thursday.
The new store will be the first of the franchise to stock the brand’s recently launched kids daywear range ‘Play 4 Day’.
The range has been available exclusively online until now.
When asked why he wanted to open at Green Hills, Peter Alexander himself said: "What can I say? People in the Hunter Region love me!”
“No seriously, we have always had a great sales from our online store from the region and the redevelopment of Green Hills was a great opportunity to bring my pink doors to the area,” he said.
The first 30 in-store on the opening day to find a ‘Golden Penny’ will win prizes including gift vouchers, candles, PJ’s and more.
Two thirds of the new store will feature women’s and men’s collections with the other third featuring kids sleepwear and the new Play 4 Day collection.
Green Hills will be the 115th Peter Alexander store in Australia and the third store in the Hunter Region - joining existing stores at Westfield Kotara and Charlestown Square.
The Peter Alexander opening comes off the back of tea store T2’s arrival in the centre on Friday.
