A man has been arrested and will be charged with murder over the death of a toddler at Tarro in June.

Emergency services were called to a Tarro home about 5.30pm on June 19 following reports a 20-month-old girl was in cardiac arrest.
The child was taken by NSW Ambulance paramedics to John Hunter Hospital, but she could not be revived.
State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad detectives and Port Stephens police established Strike Force Nerium to investigate the circumstances surrounding the girl’s death.
Following extensive inquiries, a 26-year-old man was arrested at a home at Tanilba Bay about 8.30am Thursday.
He was taken to Raymond Terrace Police Station, where he will be charged with murder.
Police will address the media later today regarding the arrest.
