Accounts Officer

Your new company

Hays is currently seeking expression of interests for Accounts Officers in Western Sydney. We work with a variety of clients in multiple industries and are always seeking to work with new candidates to help secure them work.

Your new role

As an Accounts Officer you will manage the financial bookkeeping and accounts. Your responsibilities may be but not limited to:

• Verify timesheets and complete payroll
• Manage the accounts payable and receivable
• Creating and processing invoices in MYOB and internal systems
• Prepare financial reports, reconciliation, and accruals
• Delegate minor tasks to junior accounts team members
• Ensuring good administrative process and maintain up to date documentation
• Engaging with all stakeholders in a professional manner
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes
• BAS, GST and PAYG returns

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be experienced with accounting systems such as MYOB, Pronto, Xero, Sage, SAP, Oracle, etc.
Ideally you will have or will be working towards a qualification such as a Bachelors, CPA or CA. However it is not a necessity.

What you'll get in return

Organisations are currently offering between $70000 - $80000 + Super for these types of roles. Generally work place flexibility, flexible starting times and other benefits may be available
