Starting from next Monday, the pairs of twins will embark on the next stage of their lives at four different schools in the Hunter Valley.
First off the rank are Weston’s Tamika and Kiarra Harman, 5, who will start school at Kurri Kurri Public School on Monday.
“The girls are definitely ready for school, they are as keen as mustard,” the girls’ mother Leanne Harman said.
Next Wednesday Aberglasslyn sisters Claudia and Lucy Taylor, 5, will start school at St Patrick’s Primary School, Lochinvar.
“The girls are ready. I don’t know about me, but they are,” the girls’ mother, Saskia Sales, said.
Ashtonfield twins Amelia and Gabriella Ross, 5, are travelling to Macquarie College, Wallsend, for their education.
“The girls are very ready and they are excited to be heading off to school. They have very different likes and dislikes so it will be interesting,” the girls’ mother, Jodie Ross, said.
Then there are East Maitland boys Noah and Lewis Thomson, 5, who will start school at their nearby East Maitland Public School.
“The boys are ready but I’m not, I’d like them at home for another five years,” the boys’ mother, Janee Binnie, said.“Time has gone really quickly, as it does when your hands are very full. I’m excited for them, but I’ll miss them.”
