In November alone he had a shot at $1 million prizemoney on Miracle Mile night at Menangle after entering 20 runners into the one Newcastle meeting.
This followed his most successful season on the track with 126 winners statewide, including his maiden Group 1 victory, placing him second on the NSW honour roll.
Tritton also notched his fourth straight Newcastle trainers’ premiership becoming only the third person to do so since the most recent version of the club formed in 1989.
And only last week Tritton added the Newcastle Cup to his ever-growing list of achievements with Hawthornden taking out the feature ahead of an assault on the Maitland Inter City Pace.
