The Saints made the long trip to the Central Coast without several senior players including star midfielder Wade Beard but lost no fans in losing to the well-drilled Panthers.
They finished with momentum kicking four goals to Terrigal’s two in the final term.
Maitland is continuing to improves its spread and movement of the ball from the defence and the skilled Dean Notman again led the way.
The defensive unit was further strengthened by the return of Ben Crowley and Andrew Elbourn.
Up forward captain Rob Eddy was again a strong-leading focal point. He led the scoring with three goals, with valuable contributions from Mitch Greaves and Matthew Hogan who both kicked two majors.
Experienced utility Mark Curran and Leigh Wutzke, in his first game for the seniors, were also valuable contributors.
