It was Monday footy in Maitland and the Saints made it count with a 22-point win against Lake Macquarie at Max McMahon Oval.
Maitland lead at every quarter and claimed the Black Diamond AFL first division fixture 7.12 (54) to the Dockers 4.8 (32).
The second term was key for Maitland keeping the visitors scoreless and creating a 16-point advantage at the main break.
Wade Beard kicked five goals for the Saints with Aiden Damic and 2014 player of the year Jim Taranto also booting majors.
It was a good day out for the club with all three grades successful, including a maiden victory for the women's team.
