The McCloy Group is flying the flag for the Hunter Region at the awards after the Heritage Parc project was nominated in the Residential Development category.
Heritage Parc, at Rutherford, is a community titled sub-division.
Once complete the development will have 450 homes nestled among 11 parks, playgrounds and waterways.
More than 50 per cent of the 103 hectare property is dedicated to open spaces, landscaped parklands, water features and vibrant public art.
McCloy Group managing director Brian Swaine said Heritage Parc is proving popular with buyers.
“At the recent release of stage 9, 12 of the 15 lots available had deposits taken within the first 10 minutes which shows we are satisfying the expectations of the local community by producing superior leisure and lifestyle offerings,” he said.
Heritage Parc has previously won the prestigious award for best residential development at the 2014 Urban Development Institution of Australia Awards for Excellence.
