The club has proposed a mufti day coinciding with St Patrick’s Day on March 17 aims to raise $10,000.
“When we saw what Jade was going through we thought ‘this is something our Lions club can help with’,” the Lions project coordinator John Sheppard said.
“We challenge local businesses to get involved.”
Miss Morgan, of Salt Ash, was diagnosed with Lyme disease in April 2016. Friends and family helped cover the cost of her first trip to Malaysia this month but more is needed for the next round.
“It’s vital we raise the money by the end of March,” Mr Sheppard said.
