Cheese Lovers Festival at the Sebel Kirkton Park, Pokolbin | YOUR PHOTOS

The Cheese Lovers Festival is a delicious homage to fromage. The event is held at The Sebel Kirkton Park Hunter Valley and continues all weekend long.

An exciting addition to this year’s festival is the world’s first ‘cheese cone’ – a collaboration between Kurrajong Kitchen Lavosh and Hunter Belle Cheese.

Inspired by the traditional ice cream cone, the cheese cone combines a Kurrajong Kitchen Lavosh cone with Hunter Belle Cheese’s decadent triple cream briebelle, fanned against the crunchy texture of cranberry and pistachio cheddar and a topping of spiced pear paste.

It is trimmed with locally-made salami and finished off with palate-cleansing Labelle yoghurt cheese at the bottom of the cone. Yum!
