Fire crews have rescued a woman after a cottage at Woodberry caught fire in the early hours of Monday.

Emergency Services were first called at about 1.20am, with Fire and Rescue NSW crews arriving at the Woodberry Road home to find it well alight.
Crews removed one woman from the home, who was then treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance services.
Firefighters continued to work to contain the blaze, with firefighters from Thornton Rural Fire Service, Morpeth 382, Tarro Fire Station 454, Raymond Terrace Rural Fire Brigade and East Maitland Fire Station arriving to lend assistance.
The fire was confined to the laundry and kitchen, with the crews able to save the majority of the structure after working through to 4.30am.
