The pick of the round five fixtures was between the fifth placed Griffins and seventh placed Valentine Lakers at East Maitland
Round six kicks off on Wednesday with further games on Thursday and Friday.
First placed Kurri Kurri Cannons head to third placed Soldiers Point on Friday.
On Thursday, East Maitland is away to Nelson Bay, Beresfield hosts Charlestown and Maitland City travels to Mayfield West.
On Firday, Raymond Terrace is away to Valentine and East Cessnock is on the road to Edgeworth.
In round four matches East Maitland had a 10-5 win against Edgeworth to jump East Cessnock on the table after the Comets lost 5-10 to Wallsend.
Maitland City Hunters narrowly missed a bonus point with a 14-1 win against Beresfield.
Kurri Kurri established a break on Raymond Terrace at the top of the table with a 14.5-0.5 win against Nelson Bay. Raymond Terrace beat Mayfield West 10-5 and sit on 46.6, 6.5 points behind the Cannons.
