St Phillip’s batted first, setting a lead of 95 runs all out.
Hunter Valley Grammar were quickly on their tail, with openers Harrison Allomes and Danny York combining for 47 runs to start off with.
Allomes and Charlie Walker both retired on the maximum of 25 runs, while York also contributed strongly with 22.
A solid middle order effort backing up their openers saw Hunter Valley Grammar rack up 99 runs with seven wickets in hand, winning the final for a second year running after their inaugural win in 2016.
Allomes, who skippered the Hunter Valley Grammar team, was named the Jeff Mullard man of the match with his solid leadership and batting display contributing heavily to the win.
