Thunderstorms on Monday have put the pump and disinfectant equipment out of action.
Maitland Council are working with Ausgrid and contractors in a bid to have the pool open again by Wednesday.
In the meantime, with temperatures forecast for the mid 30s today, council pointed out that East Maitland Pool is open as usual.
Council are expecting to release further updates later today.
