After almost 15 years on Hermitage Road, Pokolbin, Binnorie Dairy has moved to purpose-built premises on Lodge Road, Lovedale.
The business moved in on Wednesday this week and owners Sally and Simon Gough are excited about the opportunities that the new location will present.
“We grew out of the old factory a few years ago, so we started searching for the ideal location, and we finally found it here,” Mrs Gough said.
“As soon as we saw the for sale sign we jumped onto it.”
The new premises is about triple the size of the dairy’s original home, with the retail space alone about the same size as the old factory.
Customers will be able to sit down for cheese tastings, antipasto and coffee, and the business will now be open seven days a week (instead of six).
“It’s exciting; we’ll be able to create more jobs,” Mrs Gough said.
