LOVE is in the air.
And, no matter how long you’ve been married, there’s no denying those wedding photos are always special.
There are many love struck couples in the Hunter.
And, while money can’t buy love, it wasn’t hard to ignore the many people walking around with a bunch of flowers for their someone special.
East Maitland Florist owner Annette Moss had her red roses order in long before Valentine’s Day.
And if you’re curious as to what that order was, it was for almost 1,000 individual stems.
“It’s a fun day, but it’s very, very hectic,” Ms Moss said.
As an example of how busy it is, most days of the year the shop has two staff members working at one time – on Valentine’s Day they have 14, with six dedicated solely to delivery driving.
