There will be no shortage of entertainment this weekend.
The gates flew open at 8am, ready for a full day of action.
Junior cattle judging began at 8.30am, as did the Australian Stock Horse classes.
From 9am, poultry judging will begin, and the pavilions and animal nursery will open at 10am.
The popular Schools Day activities – including the animal nursery, Professor Wallace, the Stockman Show, Reptile Man, the cooking exhibition, honey production, sheep shearing, and a milking demonstration – will be on offer from 10am to 2pm.
There will also be a tent pegging demonstration at 3.30pm, the Rooftop Express – Wild West Show at 4pm, and the ever popular Rodeo at 5.30pm.
Gates will remain open on Friday until 10pm.
Entry is $15 per adult; $10 for a child, 5 or older; $40 for a family pass; and $10 for a pensioner.
Saturday’s events are as follows:
8.30am – Horse classes, stud beef judging, and all breeds championship dog show.
10am – Pavilions and animal nursery open
11.15am – Tent pegging demonstration
12pm – Clydesdales, heavy horse, working classes – turnouts, harness horses.
1pm – wood chop and tug-o-war
3pm – Tent pegging competition
4.30pm – DMAX precision driving team
5pm – Stockman Show and Rooftop Express – Lone Ranger Show
5.30 – Official opening
6.45pm – Tent pegging competition
7.10pm – DMAX precision driving team
7.30pm – Rooftop Express – Lone Ranger Show
8pm – DMAX precision driving team
8.30pm – Rooftop Express – Lone Ranger Show – Arena Spectacular Show
9pm – Fireworks
