Organisers from Tocal College said numbers were well up on last year and manager Wendy Franklin reported the car park on Saturday was at capacity with the overflow car park starting to fill as early as 11am.
Friday’s visitor numbers stood at 5724, representing a 5 per cent increase on 2017 Friday numbers, while Saturday’s was 8603, a 4pc increase on 2017 Saturday numbers.
“Congratulations to our winners of the Best Exhibit Awards,” she said.
The winners for all five categories are:
- Agricultural section: Milbrotec – Site 296
- Commercial section: Chesterfield – Site 272
- General Interest: UBuild Containers – Site 304
- Livestock: Miniature Goats Breeders Association – Site L18
- Education and Informative: Hunter Bird Observers – Site 403B.
