MAITLAND will welcome fashion retailer H&M this week as part of the $414 million overhaul of Stockland Green Hills.

Stockland retail leasing general manager Tony Tsekouras said he was pleased “one of the world’s best-known global fashion retailers” would be part of the centre. “This is a great example of how we’re investing in new shopping opportunities and experiences that lift the calibre and quality of our retail portfolio,” he said.
H&M will take over a 2300-square-metre space across two levels, and follows an outlet opening at Charlestown in 2016.
As part of the re-development Stockland Green Hills has recently welcomed a number of new leading brands to the centre including Mecca Maxima, Seed, Decjuba, Tigerlily, Bonds, Harris Scarfe and the first new format David Jones store in the Hunter - taking the centre to around 74,000 square metres.
Stockland cut the ribbon in celebration of the final stage of the redevelopment on Thursday, March 22.
The new stage included the opening of an indoor/outdoor courtyard, 950 more car parks and 50 additional shops, bringing the total number of retailers in the centre to 220.
