A male occupant confronted the men, before he was struck to the head with a crow bar.
Following a struggle, the rest of the group fled and the occupants called police.
A 19-year old man was treated for facial injuries and was taken to Maitland Hospital in a stable condition.
An investigation has been launched and any witnesses or anyone with information in relation to this incident is urged to come forward and contact police via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
