A Butterwick man was lucky not to have caused a serious injury when his car mounted a footpath and struck the side of Priceline Pharmacy at Pender Place on Tuesday morning.

The elderly man tried to drive into a car space about 9.20am when his foot hit the accelerator and the car crashed into the wall.
The driver then tried to reverse back and struck a parked vehicle in a parallel car space.
Police, paramedics and firefighters were called to the scene.
The driver was assessed by paramedics but did not require further treatment. He was also tested for drugs and alcohol and returned a negative reading.
Police said he left the scene safely with a family friend.
The incident caused minor damage to the building and vehicles.
