Hunter Valley Caravan, Camping, 4WD, Fish and Boat Show opens on Friday and will run across the weekend.
The event will showcase huge range of caravans, camper trailers, slide on campers, camping gear, 4WD vehicles and accessories – the list goes on.
Experts will be on hand offering a wealth of knowledge to help you make the right decision when it comes to the great outdoors.
The outdoor show is a highlight of the outdoor calendar year for people in the Hunter region, bringing together exhibitors from throughout the local region, NSW and other states.
The show has just about everything camping on offer including caravans, motor homes, camper trailers, 4WD accessories, tents and all the extras needed for a great break.
Every day there is a program of demonstrations that show new releases in outdoor equipment giving visitors an opportunity to see the latest innovations first hand.
There will also be a variety of free entertainment including a reptile awareness show, the Australian Traveling Fish Show, Flair Action Sports Bike Show (Saturday and Sunday), 4WD demonstrations and camp oven cooking by the Gold Eagle 4WD Club.
One lucky punter could also win a $6800 4WD prize donated by Active 4x4. To enter simply put your gate entry ticket into the barrel at the Active 4x4 sites. The winner will be drawn Sunday at 4pm.
If you are looking to purchase a major item like a caravan or motor home there are a couple of restrictions in NSW. Businesses in NSW can display at shows and events and enter into contracts of sale, however the delivery of the purchased product must take place at the premises of the licensed dealer.
If there is too much to see and do in one day, a second day pass can be purchased before leaving the grounds for a discounted rate.
