The two teams had gone into the clash unbeaten and equal on points, however, Hills stamped their authority on the game and produced an unusual lopsided result.
Hills have been in dominant form winning their four games by an average of 29 goals.
Two of those wins were against the bottom two sides Branxton MPBC and Tolsaf Cranes, however, they have also defeated 2017 finalists Maitland Carpet Court and now premiers The George.
The George ended Hills run of six consecutive minor premierships last year and took a 2-1 advantage in their grand final match-ups.
Maitland Carpet Court consolidated their important win against Club Maitland City last week, with a 44-35 win against Branxton MPBC.
Club Maitland City bounced back with a 42-31 win against impressive newcomers Royal Federal Hotel, replacing them in the top four.
Maitland Carpet Court are now equal on points with The George, ahead of Club Maitland City (fourth) and Royal Federal (fifth) who dropped out of the top four for the first time this season.
Tolsaf recorded their first win of the season in style defeating Hinton Hotel 48-32.
