But take care because it’s the time when extra demerit points come in to play.
The double demerit scheme will start on Friday and run through to Monday, June 11, inclusive.
Double demerit points apply for speeding, illegal use of mobile phones, not wearing a seatbelt, and riding without a helmet.
Double demerit points apply during all holiday periods including long weekends.
After this weekend, the next NSW Police double demerits operation will start on September 28, and end on October 1, for Labour Day.
