After a week of dropping temperatures and rain, it looks like Maitland can expect a relatively dry weekend.
The Bureau of Meteorology is expecting a minimum of 4 degrees and a maximum of 17 degrees on Saturday for the city.
Early fog is forecast before the sun is set to appear for the rest of the day, with only a small chance of rain.
On Sunday, it will be colder again with a minimum of 3 degrees and a maximum of 15.
The sun isn’t likely to help much either, with partly cloudy conditions expected, and areas of fog and frost in the morning.
Moving into the new week, maximum temperatures are forecast to rise by 1 or 2 degrees.
Also on the increase, the chance of rain will grow as the week progresses.
