It’s the day when the Maitland Blacks men and boys treat their mums, sisters, girlfriends and wives like queens.
Champagne and pampering are the order of the day and then there’s a chance for the ladies to let their hair down in the hugely popular sack race.
It’s also the day when the Maitland Blacks women show their wares in front of their biggest crowd of the year.
Kick off in the women’s game is at 11am and the action on field continues with the match of the day between the Blacks and Merewether Carlton from 3pm.
The Maitland Mercury takes a look back at the fun from 2016 and 2017 and looks forward to another great day in 2018.
