Due to overwhelming demand, the Maitland Flood History Walk videos are now available on YouTube, via NSW SES.
In May, Maitland Flood History Walks DVD – a free collection of flood facts became available for local history buffs.
It appears there were more interested people than they predicted, with the DVDs snapped up within a couple of months.

A second release of the videos also went quickly.
The videos showed Walk & Talk Flood Tours, led by historian Peter Bogan, covering the Mount Pleasant Street and Long Bridge precinct and the other around the Maitland Station precinct.
These two areas were significantly impacted by not only the infamous 1955 flood, but previous major floods, with photos on the video dating back to 1893.
