SEARCHING for a fun family day out this weekend?

Look no further than the Maitland Lions Club Show and Shine and Swap Meet on Sunday.

Revheads of all ages will enjoy the range of colourful vehicles on offer.

All are invited to join the excitement from 7am at Maitland Showground and share their love of classic vehicles.

Event organiser Geoff Kilmurray said all proceeds from the event would go towards homegrown not-for-profit charity Lions 4 Kids in Need.

A joint initiative between a group of Lions clubs in the area, the program financially supports families of very sick children living within 100km radius of John Hunter Hospital.

They also provide things like fuel vouchers, baby food and emergency items.
