The club has been named Hunter Valley Football’s club of the year for its many achievements including becoming the first club in Australia to receive Level 3 Accreditation through the National Coach Accreditation Scheme.
Hunter Valley Football operations manager Sarah White and association secretary Phyllis Avery presented club representatives with the coveted award last week.
White said the award was recognition of the club’s active participation in football and the quality and drive of their club administration which led to them being the first club in Australia to receive their Level 3 accreditation as part of the NCAS.
“They work hard to create a fantastic community environment for all and encourage inclusion and participation with a strong focus on future growth and female football,” White said.
“The club committee actively promotes the club through a well-maintained website and social media.
“Lochinvar also has a great working relationship with their local sponsors.”
Lochinvar Rovers secretary Lisa Duhig was also recognised individually earning the NNSWF rebel Female Football Week Female Administrator of the Year for 2018.
“While a lot of our clubs strive to achieve these qualities, Lochinvar Rovers FC has been a leader in our zone for 2018,” White said.
“The fantastic thing about the club is that they are willing to share all they have learned with other clubs.”
