A host of opening round fixtures have been called off in all grades of Maitland district cricket because grounds are too wet for play.

City United and Raymond Terraces under-16 division 1 clash was the only game across the two divisions expected to go ahead with the game transferred from Robins Oval to nearby GUOOF.
First grade games between Port Stephens and Northern Suburbs, Eastern Suburbs and Raymond Terrace, Thornton and Western Suburbs were called off on Friday.
Kurri-Weston and City United’s game at Kurri Central is expected to go ahead.
Games for the Warriors in all other grades have been called off.
City United’s fourth grade fixture against Raymond Terrace at Louth Park will go ahead, but other grades except first grade and under-16 division 1 have the weekend off.
All fixtures for Northern Suburbs teams are off.
Thornton and Westerns Suburbs games in all five grades have been called off.
Raymond Terraces top three grades games have also been washed out.
Eastern Suburbs third and fifth grade fixtures against Tenambit-Morpeth at Morpeth Oval and Tenambit Oval respectively are scheduled to proceed at this stage.
Players in the one-day competition are advised to check the Maitland and District Cricket Association Facebook page for details on their games.
