The classic story of Disney’s The Lion King will return to the big screen mid-2019 with a CGI ‘live action’ version of Mufasa and Simba’s life.
On Friday (AEST), Disney released its first trailer for the much-anticipated film, sending movie enthusiasts into a spin.
James Earl Jones, is back as the voice of original Lion King Mufasa, and joined by a star-studded cast including Seth Rogan, Beyonce, and Donald Glover.
The announcement was good news for Mufasa’s troubled brother Scar too.
While no one is looking forward to their heart breaking for Simba all over again, there’s no hiding the excitement for another excuse to see this classic with too much popcorn and a choc top.
