Maitland SES were forced to bring in a cherry picker after strong winds smashed Maitland again on Sunday.
The local unit responded to tree jobs in East Maitland, Largs and Metford after west-northwesterly winds of up to 67km/h hit the area.
It came just a few days after 94km/h winds were recorded.
One tree was so severely damaged in East Maitland on Sunday it required the SES crew to bring in a cherry picker to remove the whole tree to avoid further damage.
Large trees also landed on houses in Largs and Metford, the latter of which caused “considerable damage” to the roof.
