The program is called Santa Paws for a Cause Photos, where people can get photos taken of themselves and their pets with Santa to help a worthy local cause.
The cost is $15 for three digital photos, with $5 from each family donated to Dog Rescue Newcastle.
The final event in Maitland for this year will be held at Rutherford Marketplace on Friday from 4pm to 7pm.
Bookings are encouraged, yet walk ups are welcome. Don’t forget your wallet, your lead and your cheesy grin.
Over the past few weeks, families have brought a variety of pooches, puppies, cats, kittens, and even a rabbit and guinea pig to have their photo taken with Santa.
The event is also being held at several locations in Newcastle over the next week.
