Five Hunter Region Neighbourhood Watch volunteers have been recognised for their long service including Telarah’s Stan Farnham who boasts 30 years service.
Hunter Region NHW Coordinator Bill Hackney made a surprise visit to end of year Christmas parties to present the tokens of appreciation to the volunteers.
“I thought it was fitting that these recognition awards were best presented in front of their peers,” Mr Hackney said.
“NSWNHW couldn’t be prouder of the region’s longest serving active groups.”
Stan Farnham 30 years and Mick O’Hearn 20 years Telarah, Jeanette Green 25 years, Lloyd Frith 20 years and Anne Frith 20 years Beresfield Tarro Woodberry.
