Jones smashed an unbeaten 97 in his side’s 79-run win against Kurri Weston after posting 3/187 in their T20 3rd Grade clash at Maitland Park.
Paterson kept their unbeaten record intact following up their win against the Warriors by beating Tenambit Morpeth Bulls by six wickets with 21 balls to spare.
Paterson have booked a Twenty20 semi-final spot and face City United at Paterson Oval in their final preliminary round game this Saturday.
Raymond Terrace recorded two wins on Saturday to sit second on the table with three wins and a loss.
Terrace beat the Bulls by seven wickets after dismissing them for just 54 and followed up with a 56-run win against City United bowling them out for 59.
Tenamibit Morpeth lost both their games on Saturday and sit fourth with two wins, behind Kurri Weston who had a six wicket win against Port Stephens after their opening loss to Paterson.
Port Stephens had their first win of the competition when they dismissed City for 47 and made 1/53 in reply reaching their target in the fifth over.
Raymond Terrace have a local derby against Port Stephens and Kurri Weston play Tenambit Morpeth Bulls at Margaret Johns Park in the final round matches in T20 3rd Grade.
Grades 4 and 5 also have one round to play on Saturday.
SMR top the Grade 4 table with four wins from four matches after accounting for Norths and Wests last Saturday. They face Tenambit Morpeth this week.
After forfeiting their opening two games Seaham are just two points behind Wests, Norths and the Bulls on 10 points after two wins last Saturday. They face Raymond Terrace and with a win should book a spot in the semi-finals.
In the other game Norths play Wests. Irrespective of the result, both teams are still a chance of finals if other results fall their way.
The top four in 5th grade cannot change with one round remaining. Bowthorne are unbeaten and face fourth placed Tenambit Morpeth on Saturday.
Raworth Rabbitohs and Port Stephens have only lost to Bowthorne and meet each other in round five. Kurri Weston and Western Suburbs play off for bottom spot.
Six teams have chances of making the semi-finals in 6th grade with two rounds on Saturday. Thornton leads with three wins and a draw.
Belmore have booked their spot but there are four other teams still in the mix for the 7th grade semi-finals.
