The formidable new Maitland forward pack has been boosted more with Peter Cronin switching to the Pickers from the Bulldogs.
Cronin joined the Pickers’ two key off-season forward signings prop pairing Sam Anderson and Tyrone Amey and former Knights junior Ofa Manuofetoa at Maitland’s first official training run for the 2019 season on Tuesday night.
Outside back recruit former Canberra Raiders and Auckland Warriors centre Matt Allwood is away and couldn’t make the first run, but will be on the track in the next week or so.
