Your search is over, with Newcastle Permanent's Cinema Under the Stars returning to Maitland Park.

Free entertainment will begin at 5.30pm, with a special screening of The Greatest Showman, PG.

Prior to the feature film screening, there will be activities for children.

All are welcome to bring their family, friends, picnic rugs and food to watch a family favourite under the stars.

Food and non-alcoholic drinks will also be available for purchase at the event.

"We understand how much regional communities across NSW look forward to our Cinema Under the Stars events, and as a customer-owned organisation it is just one of the many ways we’re giving back to communities that support us," Newcastle Permanent sponsorship manager Danielle Lilley said.

“Since 2008, Newcastle Permanent’s Cinema Under the Stars has brought families and communities together by 3300 people this January."
