The 19-month-old girls are heading to Melbourne's Government House on Tuesday to help celebrate the 20th-anniversary of the Children First Foundation, which helped organise the once-conjoined siblings' delicate medical procedure.
Since being released from hospital in late November, Nima and Dawa have been living with their mother at the foundation's property on Melbourne's outskirts, building strength for their trip home, which could happen any day.
