All five of the new German Shepherd puppies – three females and two males – will be given a name starting with the letter ‘Z’.
The little puppies will be officially named at 11am Thursday, March 14, at Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick.
Also in attendance will be the Dog Unit Commander Superintendent Steve Egginton; Mrs Andrea Fuller, Patron, NSW Police Dog Unit; acting assistant Commissioner Paul Devaney from Police Transport and Public Safety Command; and the director of nursing from Sydney Children’s Hospital, Verity Luckey.
Patients from Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick, will be some of the first to cuddled the newly-named dogs.
