Police are investigating the theft of four laptops worth more than $8000 from JB Hifi Green Hills - believed to connected to similar thefts from other JB Hi-Fi stores.

The four Apple Mac laptops were taken from a display at the Green Hills shop about 1.30pm on Saturday.
Police said JB Hi-Fi head office had sent out a warning to staff about a group of people doing the same thing at other stores in the Hunter.
Detectives are searching for five men in relation to the incident.
The men were described as being of African appearance and between the ages of 16 and 24.
