The Hunter Valley Showjumping Club posted that Saturday's classes have been cancelled to save the ground for Sunday.
"We will endeavor to open some more rounds for Sunday 's classes for riders who were only entered Saturday," the club said.
"Sunday's course walk will be 7.30am with first horse on course at 8am.
"Saturday's dinner will go ahead."

It's a big weekend for the region's showjumpers with the Hunter Region Championships on in Maitland.
From Friday to Sunday 166 riders from as far as Sydney, Quirindi, Coffs Harbour, Tamworth and Wingham will take on the Hunter's best, with 962 rounds of jumping scheduled.
"The top riders will be jumping fences at one metre 40 (140 centimetres), but we try to cater for everyone," event organiser Sue Middleton said.
"So there's classes for the younger and less skilled riders as well.
"For those top riders, it can take years of work with a horse to build up that understanding and trust."
While the Hunter is probably better known for eventing than showjumping, Ms Middleton is delighted at the numbers.
"We have a couple of ex Olympians competing in Vicki Roycroft and our own David Cooper. It should be a great weekend and the public is welcome," Ms Middleton said.
Competition starts at 8.30am on all three days at the Polocrosse Ground, Anambah Road, Rutherford.
