The reigning premiers scored 60 or more points for the second week in a row to open up the Maitland netball A-grade season.
It was a vintage Hills performance, building their lead each quarter by not giving an inch in any contest.
The performance sent out a warning to the other teams, with Club Maitland City accounting for Hills' arch rival and grand final opponent of the past four seasons. The George Tavern 41-30 in round one.
The George clocked up their first win of the season defeating Tolsaf Cranes 46-31. The young Tolsaf outfit made up predominantly the Maitland Blacks A-2 runners up from 2018 and a couple of young Branxton players are still without a win.
The win will be a boost in belief for The George, who are without several starters from last season and will take time to blend as a team.
Hinton Hotel got their first win with an upset 38-31 win, based of last year's results, against Customs House Hotel who played as Royal Federal Hotel last season.
Customs House was touted as another potential finals team and will no doubt be better for the run.
However, the pressure only mounts next round when they meet Club Maitland City eager to atone for their loss to Hills.
The April 13 fixtures are the last games before an extended break for Easter and the school holidays with round four scheduled for May 4.
Tolsaf Cranes search for a first win gets even tougher when they face Hills Solicitors. The match of the round is between The George Tavern and promoted Nexus Power Comets.
