Organiser Bob Rhodes hopes the event is bigger than last year's which attracted more than 200 people and raised more than $1000 for local charities.
"We chose to donate to cancer research because just about everyone knows or is related to someone who has had cancer," Bob said.
This year's event will be held on Saturday, August 17 at Miller Park Branxton starting at 11am. Bob said people from as far afield as Warwick in Queensland will be attending the event which is held every two years.
"It's a chance for both current and retired truck drivers and their partners to get together, reminisce and share their stories," he said.
"The 2017 event was such a spectacle that people were pulling off the highway to come and have a look. Everyone is welcome whether they're associated with the trucking industry or not."
Merchandise stalls will be on site with proceeds from some sales going to HMRI.
