The Mustangs established an 84-57 lead at the final break in an effort to ensure the bench players got plenty of time on court.

"We really wanted to get some of the guys who haven't suited up before on court, we wanted to reward them for all their efforts at training," Mustangs coach Luke Boyle said.

"I had a chat to a the guys before the game about getting us a nice healthy lead so we could make sure we got these guys some time.

"We did that in the third and it allowed us to play fairly deep, I don't think any of our starters got any more than 20 minutes.

"They did do a good job, last quarter was an issue as we pretty much played the whole bench together, where normally we would have mix of starters and players from the bench.

"We were confident enough that we could hold the lead and the guys did a good job."

Yohana Henry and Stuart Brown both got their first runs and didn't disappoint, with Henry shooting six points and collecting four rebounds, Brown also made four rebounds.

Isaiah Ellis and Terrell Turner were again outstanding for the Mustangs, leading rebounds and points respectively.

Ellis collected another double-double landing 10 points to go with his 12 rebounds. Turner, who scored 16, has six assists six rebounds.

Ellis, Turner and the other starting three Josh Clifford (11 points),  Daniel Millburnd (13) and Jack Edwards (10) all made double figures.

Starting off the bench Jason Duerden had his best game for the Mustangs scoring 13 points and making seven rebounds.

Jason McAnulty had another fine game shooting nine points.

"Isaiah and Terrell have been huge for us so far this season. Everything you ask of Isaiah he delivers. He is such a selfless player and I think the two are working very well together and bringing other players into the game," Boyle said.

The Mustangs are on the road against Central Coast on April 27.
