Fred Goodall, Garry Kedwell, Peter Akers, James Porters, Tony Desira and Brian Tuft are all in with a chance to lift the cup in what promises to be an exciting 400 metre sprint around the showground circuit.
Form analysts are tipping Kedwell's Braeman to ping the lids and lead from box two and with a personal best time of 22.49s he will be hard to beat if he is anywhere near the lead rounding the home turn.
Porter's Mepunga Reign is the second pick from box four while Tuft's O'Hara from box eight is tipped to round out the minors.
Maitland Greyhounds is offering free race day entry to all current and former service personnel to come along and enjoy an afternoon at the races. There will be full TAB coverage, canteen, barbecue and bar facilities.
The first race kicks off at 4.29pm and entry is via the Evans Street gate behind the main grandstand.
