Road closures
Maitland City Council approved an application from Cattleyard Promotions to temporarily close some streets surrounding the Maitland Showground to ensure safe movement of pedestrians and traffic associated with the Groovin the Moo music festival.

On Saturday, April 28, between 8am and midnight, there will be several temporary road closures.
Weather
According to the Bureau of Meteorology, Maitland can expect a cold night on Saturday.
A maximum of 21 degrees is predicted, with a minimum of only 10.
Transport
The festival is located at Maitland Showground and there are a number of ways you can get there.
For those who need to park their car, Maitland Lions Club will operate car parking at Cultivation Road, East Maitland.
The car park will be open from 9am to 11.30pm; cost is $5.
Drivers are reminded the location is private property and cars will need to be removed on the night.
There is also the option of being dropped off at Mailtand Train Station, which is a short walk to the event.

Bring warm clothes (it's forecast to be a cool night), don't forget your ticket and make sure you have your ID.
ATM availability
There will be ATM facilities on site but Groovin the Moo organisers recommend getting cash out before arriving at the event to avoid waiting in long lines at the machines.
